Titre : | The development of a user-friendly web-based tool predicting the end-use performance of alternative transportation fuels | Type de document : | projet fin études | Auteurs : | Ayoub BANI, Auteur | Langues : | Français (fre) | Catégories : | Ingénierie de web et Informatique mobile
| Mots-clés : | fuels, ADVANCEFUEL, models, Back-end, Api, Front-end, Mobile and Responsive | Index. décimale : | 2178/19 | Résumé : | Renewable fuels are of a great importance when aiming at decreased dependency from fossil
resources in the transportation sector. This thesis, being part of ADVANCEFUEL project,
encompasses implementation of a web tool that predicts the end-use performance of alterna-
tive fuels. This work is based on research done by the energy group at Aalto university. The
team developed some mathematical models that given user inputs it can give information
about the fuel consumption and the performance. These mathematical models developed
with multiple regression analysis. And it's based on real data and experiments done on fuels
and dierent engines.
It is expected by the end of this work to have a friendly front-end web application. That
is easy to use and very simple. This application contains a calculator that changes relatively
to the back-end API. The calculator handles user inputs and veries it then send it to the
back-end. The back-end will serve the result and the front-end will render the received data.
The application is responsive and robust. It is also expected to have a mobile application
that performs the same functionalities as the web application.
