and Mobile Systems Engineering" of the National School of Computer Science and Systems Analysis
(ENSIAS). It was realized at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA, from March until July 2018. It
focuses on the realization of energy and sensors monitoring system for the Solar Decathlon House.
Our goal in this project is to provide an energy and sensors monitoring system for the OCULUS
2019 Solar Decathlon Africa team that will allow the team to have enough information about the
functionality of the selected devices and evaluate their effectiveness, to test the performance of the
house while meeting the demanding standards of the current society in terms of use of the devices.
The system will allow the OCULUS team to gain maximum points during the competition by
allowing the team to know the consumption and temperature inside each machine, the temperature and
humidity of the environment and also the system can send an alert email in case the appliances don’t
respect the requested standard.
This internship was beneficial to me, whatever the professional, technical and relational level. It
allowed me to highlight the team spirit and develop my technical skills by improving my knowledge
and my skills, he brought me more points, allowing to introduce myself to the professional world.
